What happened to Triviaspot.com?
Triviaspot.com was created in 2000. Unfortunately, the underlying programming code was way outdated and we could no longer continue to support the site or add any new features. So we decided to develop a brand new website from scratch using current technology.

Why is it called Trivix? What changed?
Since we're building a new site from the ground up we decided to use a shorter, more catchy domain name. We will be offering way more games and features than the old Triviaspot, so Trivix seemed a better name. It's still Triviaspot, just with a new name and look.
-
Where are the 'daily games' and high-score lists?
We're currently developing a lot of new games and features for Trivix. Unfortunately, the development takes a lot of time, so we decided to launch the new site as soon as possible, even without some of the most popular Triviaspot games. All of your favorite games such as 'daily trivia', high-scores etc. will soon be added to the site again. So please check back often or sign-up for our newsletter to get notified about any updates and new features.
-
What's up with all those banner ads?
We provide most of our services for free to our users. In order to pay for game development, maintenance, servers, hosting and bandwidth we have to somehow monetize the site to cover our costs. Banners and ads make this free site possible, so please support our sponsors and click on a banner when you see something of interest. We do have plans to provide an ad free Trivix for a small, yearly membership fee. Let us know your thoughts...

What's a Gravatar? How do I get one?
A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?
Signing up for a gravatar.com account is FREE, and all that's required is your email address. Once you've signed up you can upload your avatar image and soon after you'll start seeing it on gravatar enabled sites!
-
Will you be text messaging me and if so will I have to pay for them?
No, we will not contact you unless you signed up to receive our newsletter.
1 - optional, used to notify you when the question has been answered
